+971 is one of the restaurants for Ephemera, a creative F&B cluster of five unique restaurants in Westfield. The idea was to bring the UAE to Westfield with modern and understated Dubai authenticity. The design expresses this through the use of Arabic calligraphy and patterns into its walls and the space’s focal point, the +971 bar. The country’s heritage of being a fisherman’s village is realized through the thick twined cords that span the expanse of the ceiling and through the basket like features of the restaurant’s lighting.
