The D House is a two-storey residence for a creative and active young couple. The house incorporates raw materials like stone, metal and wood into its features, blending justifiably well with the site’s existing trees and foliage. This gives the structure the effect of being in tuned with its natural surroundings through the use of its materials. With the perfect location in the highlands of Cebu, glass walls are used to take advantage of the scenic view. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a recreation room that doubles as a gym and an infinity pool. A unified space for the living room, dining area and kitchen opens to a modest courtyard through a wide expanse of sliding glass doors, encouraging the unbroken connection between the indoors and the outdoors.
