The MU House is a two-storey house on a 250-sqm rectangular lot with the open-planned living spaces predominantly facing the rear side of the lot, the focal point of the design being the backyard. The stairs that lead to the two bedrooms are located by the entrance to make way for the combined communal space of the kitchen, dining and living areas; this is to take advantage of the openness that the patios on each side brings to the interior.
